The contender is a stringless, bush bean that matures early. This is a short season variety that does well in cooler climates Great for canning and freezing. Very easy to grow. Beans start producing about a week before most other varieties. Bean pods grow up to 8" long but are best eaten early when they are 5" and stringless This bush type bean produces abundant quantities of stringless pods.
All my seeds come in reusable ziplock bags with planting instructions.
