Used primarily as a green shell bean but good as a snap bean when young. 60 days for snap beans, 80 days for shell beans. Has a rich and delicious flavor and texture like Lima beans

When cooked, they have an appealing creamy texture and mild, nutty flavor that blends well with stronger flavors like chilies, and garlic, so they make superior refritos.
