Continuity butterhead lettuce seeds are an old French HEIRLOOM that have been commercially available since 1885. Often listed as Merveille de Quatres Saisons, the “Marvel of the Four Seasons” has very attractive, bronze/red outer foliage on 20-30cm (8-12″) wide heads. This beautiful little lettuce does well in all climates and can be sown in both spring and fall. Continuity lettuce has very good winter harvest potential if protected from frost with heavy row cover or a cloche greenhouse over the row. It is very slow to bolt in summer, as well.
All my seeds come in reusable ziplock bags with planting instructions.
