This vigorous perennial plant provides huge pickings of delicious, lemony, dark-green leaves from March to November. Sow May to June 1 cm (1/2") deep in rows 45cm (18") apart. Grow plants 30cm (12") apart. Use in salads or soup. Cut off seed stalks. This sorrel variety makes outstanding microgreens. Sow the seeds densely on the surface of some soil, and harvest when the first true leaves appear. The texture is light and airy, but the citrus flavour is intense. Sorrel microgreens make an excellent topping for salads and soups.
