Description
Description: Very low, and tidy growing, small, wide with sharp toothed petals dark green narrow foliage forms a carpet like mat. Without blooms it's 4"-5" high x 2 1/2' wide.
Ideal conditions: Loose, rich soil is best as it will deter weeds from growing underneath, but most well drained soils will work. Full sun on the coast or afternoon sun is o.k. Regular water.
Bloom: Almost neon, reddish- pink colored blossoms 3/4" wide with sharp-toothed petals, are borne at ends of forked flowering stems. The upright stems are about 4-5" long with short leaves. Mid summer is show time. With regular water you might get another flush in early fall..
